Phoenix House, located at 107 E. Micheltorena in Santa Barbara, is a state-licensed social rehabilitation program with 12 residential beds for mentally ill adults who may also have addictions. It is located in a prime residential neighborhood, close to downtown Santa Barbara, across from a beautiful park. Phoenix House has around-the-clock staffing and offers 20 hours of groups, counseling, and activities per week. Our goal is to help our residents recover from mental illness and live as independently as possible in the community. The program stay is from three months to eighteen months depending upon need. While at Phoenix, our clients learn to manage symptoms, learn about recovery, and develop social, recreational, and vocational skills. We believe in consumer empowerment and our staff is committed to help clients achieve their personal goals. We have one private room available at Phoenix House for private pay. Our other beds are contracted to serve clients of Santa Barbara County Mental Health Services. If you have any questions about our program at Phoenix House, please call (805) 965-3434.
